PIECE BY PIECE
Standing at the edge of reality and disbelief,
A broken soul shivers deep,
Was torn and shattered on the reef,
As the river flows steadily downstream,
Never able a moment still, ever waiting
For silent peace.
Echoes of hope silently whisper,
Hidden in shadows awaiting
The night's cold embrace.
Shy amidst the gloom, with tender grace,
Courage flickered with a daring glimmer.
Illuminating hidden paths in a darkened trance.
And in the labyrinth where shadows weave,
The broken soul begins to dance,
Yearning the healing, letting go of pain
Before all is lost in the echoes of a soft refrain.
Courage, it takes, excepting what once was,
Becoming the light of hope within the dark,
Where resilience blooms, unafraid to rise from the broken parts.
Standing at the edge of disbelief,
A broken soul put together, piece by piece.
No longer torn and shattered on the reef.
