Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage
A pilgrimage, a faith sought dear
Doth the maker, lapse?
Heaven's gate unfolds, a woven castle a haven to atone
God is fair, no entity to fear
Held god high, a motive sphere
On a pedestal, thine worthy dwell
to hell's canals, his enemies shell
A righteous soul, a spirit quell
Does faith endure, or does it wear?
Is a pilgrim journey a heart repaired?
Or wounds one further into despair?
Shall one shoulder the heavenly betail, or remedy thine soul for a better fate?
