Pilgrims of falsehood

Our perceive demons were blotted out
As we magnified men on the pulpit
Wearing the white garment of hypocrisy
Their words stood like laws
Our myopic minds stayed opened
To their religious fallacies
With hopes of finding true redemption
And spiritual sanity
Religious tolerance now diminished
In delusive piety
wars against our brothers are fought with pride
Erroneous doctrines sermonize
Love conquered by hate
Faith ridiculed by their sinful hands
True spiritual ways abandon
For the pursuit of insatiable wealth
Religion now left to become
An instrument of disintegration
God laughs at our self-delusion
And rebellious paths
Our heads bows in utter sanctimony
And our hearts entangled in rancor
We are nothing but pilgrims of falsehood
