Sooner the streets will be full of folk and the world will lighten,
Sooner the darkness will vanish and at dawn the day will brighten,
Sooner the kids will go to school and learn more,
Sooner the kids will play outdoor.
Sooner we need not stock houseful of groceries,
Sooner we could travel and fly overseas,
Sooner we won't hesitate to shake hand,
Sooner we won't panic to breath in an open land.
Sooner the banquet halls will be full of weddings,
Sooner the graveyards will be less of funeral ceremonies,
Sooner the worshipping places will not be empty,
Sooner God will shower upon us his mercy in plenty.
Sooner we will overcome this COVID-19 mystery,
Sooner this so called pandemic will just be a history.
Oh dear God ! We repent to you of our sins so please consider our plea,
Only then we can heave a sigh of relief because none but only you can set us free.
