Sometimes darkness prevail
Because we often fail
To open our hearts
And make evil departs
The goodness that I hide within
The beauty of the world that I see
And dreaming of the person I want to be
Glorifying others, rather than He
The guilty side of me
The evil I'm trying to fight
My darkness I wanna hide
Pushing the evil at my side
The natural man that God abhors
Is the man my other self adores
Forgive thee Lord, I pray thee
Cleanse thy soul, hearken me
Hear Lord, my humble pleading
Forgive Lord,this unfaithful being
