I say: "Wanna hear a poem?"
And always hear: "Sorry, I gotta get going!"
So, Is it them,
Or is it me?
All I want,
Is for someone to read my poetry!
I never thought,
My poems were all that bad!
So, when someone reads them,
It's just so rad!
Not to mention,
If they like my writing,
It gives me hope,
And it's so exciting!
So, Thanks for taking the time,
To read my dumb rhyme.
If I try and make'em painless,
I might get famous!
So, here it goes,
I'm going in!
We'll see if my poem can win,
A place in someone's heart,
Since that was the purpose,
From the start!
