A poem to poets, I write today
To those who weave words in a magical way
You craft the language with skill and art
And paint vivid pictures from the depths of your heart
Your words can stir emotions deep within
And take us on journeys we've never been
You create worlds both beautiful and bleak
And give us a glimpse of the truth we seek
With every line and every verse
You touch our souls and quench our thirst
For beauty, meaning, and inspiration
And guide us on our path of exploration
So poets, keep on writing your poetry
For it is a gift that sets our hearts free
And brings us closer to the essence of life
With your words as a lantern in the dark of night
Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world
For your poetry is a precious pearl
That shines bright and illuminates our way
And helps us make sense of the world each day.
