Deflection like misdirection
Has us guessin where we're headin
Disrespectin our brethren
Voters used like their weapons
So we choose our Armageddon
Though we lose and keep on steppin
I refuse to keep forgettin
That a noose was used for oppression
On the news we see their aggression
Beat and bruised with forced confessions
Political abuse and voter suppression
Anxiety induced deep depression
Back to the noose suicidally threatened
On second guess I'll live for the next lesson
