SO I WROTE A POEM
I can see her coming back to me
So I got to send my love
She wants to give me another chance
So I got to let the poem rhyme

I remember when my poem cried
The tears never reached the floor
So my world got dried
Spirit of love all over
So I wrote a poem
Promises got broken in the past
As we stabbed each other in the back
Yet I still have a promise to make
I will treat you better this time

Not to say I'm now perfect
Because I'm not
But I would not reapeat the same mistakes
I know all my written wrongs
So i wrote a poem
It is not an apology
For I am not sorry
Loving you is the best I can do
Can't let you go
