Wish I could go back
to the hours of us,
the moments we had,
summoning of hearts.
Your appearance in my dreams
illuminates my being
and then realistically,
I feel a little numb
to cherish the dead roses
of your cards.
Some dark petals
and some bright red
imagine them synchronize,
is now what my life is like.
