🕊

Whatever happens, Relentless
and fierce Love
always will haunt me—tender, delicate
your manner of love, like the half-curled frond.
Or the fiddlehead fern in forests
just washed by Sun over a pond.
Your traveled, generous thighs
between which my wholeness has come and come—
the innocence and wisdom of the Sacred place my heart has found there—
the alive, insatiate dance of glistening particles
Falling upon the ground.
Firm; protective;
searching
me out,
lucid dreaming.
Strong hands
reaching through particles of fog where I had been diligently wandering throughout;
Falling.
Rose-wet—red petals, pink lips.
Rise out of ashes of the yew,
Calling
To step from the naked
Fray, to be as tender
As bluegill’s pearlite bones, blue.
