POURING OUT ALCOHOLISM

Don't blame me for way I am I grew up in the chaos of all the weekend trips
Momma throwing bologna sandwiches and chips
Rushing off to grab her fix so she can relax and get her sips
Aunts and uncles be so faded I thought that was the way it was supposed to be
I was born to be a menace cuz that's all I knew was the brown bottle affect
Dont get me wrong my momma treated me great and showed no neglect
The way she raised was manners and respect
But life wasn't always I always wanted to reflect
Moving from place to place, didnt even bother to make any friends
Wondering when all the screaming and the yelling ever ends
I know she tried her best, she been through alot
Her love and toughness will never be forgot
It ends here though,no more drinking for the next generation
Me and their momma is gonna show them a different situation
