Power of small things

I started to believe in the power of dots,
When I was eight,
I could see them everywhere,
On grounds, on walls,
On my hands,
Everywhere;
At first I used to get scared,
Why only I am seeing them?
Why not anybody else?
Then gradually they started to form patterns;
And flowed in front of me.
They made streets,
And rivers, and highways, and meadows,
They pointed me out,
Ways to take.
I made them my friends. .
Once I told this story to my geometry teacher,
He taught me the power of dots,
He said what I see are true,
That only dots have the power
To build everything.
Only dots can make lines
And lines can form objects.
He showed me everything I knew,
And gave me weapon to fight,
Against whoever told me wrong
To see what everyone else couldn't see.
Dots taught me,
Just because you can't see it,
Doesn't mean it's not there.
And just because you can and anyone else can't,
Doesn't destroy its existence.
It's all about the one who's seeing
And accepting.
Now tell me, can you see the dots?
