G

premonition

I picked up my pen
To write them all out plain
My pretence and feigns
Left to flush in the drain
It never drizzled but rained
Would fate align with prophesy at last
Every good imagination came in contrast
Even the rooftops couldn't harbor this pain
A pulley pulls me to this miserable end
Holding on to nothing but a branch of faith
My hands tied to a burning stake
Been in flames, burnt and dropped in a lake
Never drowned in them until now
A steady gaze at the future and an ugly frown
How long till this oxygen melt away
Wouldn't comprehend unless you are a seer
Saw a crack more powerful than my pillar
But would live each day like a thriller
Even if my blood stays less thicker
And breathe becomes thinner
I hope to say those last words
With satisfaction and a happy face
