Sunsets catwalk in my mind
in limited edition Armani & Louis Vuitton,
flaunting happiness in fresco colors
of early Spring and Autumn.
Seas of smiling faces
and sad, sad eyes,
a picture of despair
watch the world go by,
The sun sinks into the horizon
tagging madness by its hair,
What is happiness
if there's a price tag on it,
you ask the skyline in a whisper,
It's all for a show, maybe?
nobody knows,
nobody knows.
They say we can't buy
happiness in a world
where everybody
hates happy endings,
All we need is love, maybe
we got to believe
in a little spark of magic.
Dusk arrives in a limousine,
tomorrow is a question mark
no one knows the answer,
and yet again,
you ask yourself
for the hundredth time
in between
chasing pavements & sunsets,
Could we afford
happiness if it's not for sale?
