Quarantine musings

Days turn to nights,
Weeks to months,
Tossin and turnin',
On the same bed,
Dinner till brunch.
The ceilings above
Seem to be our new treasure haunts,
Scouring through them for answers beyond.
Forget the doorbell,
which no one dings,
Even the ringtone seems
to be the music for our rock n roll dreams.
Netflix and dramas are the new doses,
for keeping our sanity in check,
Pizzas and burgers are what we all seem to beg.
Going to the grocery store is a red carpet event,
The vegetable vendors our new friends.
But don't be sad,
This too shall pass,
So, let us try to enjoy it as long as it lasts.
