Please, brother, stop and think.
You are not the one in control..
Until you let that bottle go.
There's nothing you can't do..
Once you set your heart and mind to.
You have worth and valued so much more.
You must deal with the pain and quit keeping score.
Forgive whoever caused your pain..
It's not for them but for you to stay sane.
You can take your life back..
You can get it back on track.
Liquor is not the way to cope..
It wears off and you still have no hope.
You know who saves so how will you respond through..
When He asks what you did with this miraculous life He gave you?
I know you can do this because you're stronger than you think..
You just have to be fed up with wasting life on a drink.
I'm proof it can be done having several other demons to fight too..
Addicted by my own hand but Jesus held me and pulled me through.
You deserve to find happiness and peace again ..
All it takes is crying out to Jesus, my friend.
He'll be your strength when you are surely weak,
You can overcome way more than you think.
Writing for Him helped me find a way to recover,
Find what technique helps you so you can help another.
You may cry and suffer for a while,
But, I promise, one day you'll get back your smile.
You don't have to look far for a pure kind of love,
People will always fail, but Jesus never does.
You are special, dearly loved, and precious in His sight,
He has better plans for you so avoid Hell tonight.
