We all stand in the rain.
It's hard to stay dry when the ceiling is full of holes and that damn rain keeps pouring in.
I know many times you thought of throwing that wet towel in.
Just give it another wring someday soon it will be spring.
If you need help try asking your neighbor for their umbrella.
Hopefully they aren't a ugly fella.
Hopefully they aren't brash.
Hopefully they don't shove it up your ass.
In the 11th hour waiting in the cold this depression is getting old.
Oh don't get confused it's true.
It all comes down to you and those things that get you through.
Pray we evolve!
Pray we evolve from our sorrows.
Help us see a brighter tomorrow.
Pray we don't fall into the same cycle again.
Pray we get up on our feet again.
Until we learn to stand in the rain.
