RAIN And Its Showers

We call you brother mine,
when the roads lose all their shine
They turn to dull grey,
and footsteps are led astray.
Pour in from all sides with sheer force,
like a hefty dragon belching from its nose.
Come and go because fields without you,
look like young maidens ready to marry without ado.
Drizzle gently and don't cause floods,
don't log houses with water and mud.
We call you brother mine,
to conquer the kingdom of Frey,
and correct those who are led astray.
Fear him for the wind god Boreas will blow,
clouds and haziness out of skies with sounds which are low.
Winter will bring with it freezing nights,
and all the rapturous energy and beauty of nature will be turned cold.
