Raindrops of fire
Mother Earth cries raindrops of fire,
spitting spurts of lava into the world,
a world so careless, so free,
neglecting the land it should cherish dearly.
Raindrops of fire are her desperate plea,
for humankind that litters and destroys,
her bountiful earth, provider of food,
land, and life itself, now in agony.
Each fiery drop a cry for help,
as poor Mother Earth feels desperate and sad,
her tears scorching the land,
a stark reminder of our neglect.
