Do you know the worse thing about rape?
Is that you relive the moment
Each time you have sex
Everything comes back to you like it's happening again.
When he kisses you
You see your rapist kissing you
When he touches you
It's your rapist's touch you feel
And it's so traumatising.
Sex becomes a nightmare
You don't feel pleasure but pain
You just lay there on the bed in tears
Your man won't understand a thing
He will think you crying because you are enjoying
But in real sense it's pain
You stop him and he gets mad
You nolonger see him
All you see is that man
The one who took everything away from you
You see him having fun
And you the pain
You get hurt all over again
You scream and shout
But your man doesn't notice
All he thinks is that you are enjoying
It's more than you can handle.
You stop the struggle
Like a log you stay still
He pumps his frustrations in you
So helpless
You feel so dirty
And you begin to hate him too
You curse him
And wish to never see him again
To you all men are the same
Sex means everything to them
And you mean nothing to any
It hurts you know
I wasn't writing a poem
Was just passing a message
Men if you date a complicated woman
Do your best to understand her
If she chooses you make her happy
Help her forget that incident.
