Poetry written on a page
tells only part the story
if I'd keep you long enough
you'd see my life is gory.
So I'll keep it short and sweet
make my life seem funny.
Dollar for every downfall,
man I'd have lots of money.
So let's make it very clear
I keep my words on ice
crisp and cool for you to hear
but it cuts me like a knife.
