Reality of Music

Music is an art, the imbeciles say,
Leaving their traditions behind,
Indulging in it throughout the day,
They themselves don't remind,
But speak of those who sing,
Forgetting their own role in life,
Put upon their head a huge ring,
They pierce themselves with a knife,
In the deepest depth of their heart,
Little do they know the cons of the sin,
Yet act as deaf and blind so smart,
Having an outstanding win,
But on the day of questioning,
Will your momentary happiness-
Be your guidance for that reckoning, or
Will it make you someone of loneliness?
You get everyday lectures to quit,
But you still continue listening to it,
And you so badly don't want to admit,
That it will be a torture in your pit,
People become depressed without a cause,
Thinking that random tunes can heal,
Know that it only deepens your flaws,
And will misguide you without a feel,
If you knew what it takes from you,
You would never listen to it again,
It takes away your soul's peace,
Only to give it a cold cease,
If you knew what it gives you,
You would never listen to it again,
It gives you temporary pleasure,
Making you lose your everlasting treasure,
If you knew what it takes and gives you,
You would see the bitter yet, true view.
