Curled up in this net of safety
Like a caterpillar, sloppy, ugly and lazy
Enjoying the view from a distance while my thoughts enslave me
Scared to live due to what others may think
Standing next to a heart that's beat is not in sync with mine
Falling from the trees with no hope of flying
Happiness and faith flash before me as I close my eyes to realize
I'm worth being loved an peace a priority
I've loved the world but not what's inside of me
A voice so sweet and silent whispered in my ear
And peace began to rise and so disappeared my fears
My net of safety ripped to pieces
Scared yet relieving
As I break out of the caccoon that once held me
Piece by piece it falls apart
Like a suit of armour after war
Wings emerged an I began to saw
Happiness and faith flash before me as I open my eyes I realize a new world a waits me
