A recipe for a broken heart,
Is something that's not hard to start.
Take a cup of love and add some trust,
Stir it with passion, creating a must.
Next, add a teaspoon of pain,
A pinch of hurt to add to the strain.
Mix it all together with care,
Creating a recipe that's not so rare.
Bake it in the oven of time,
Until the heartache starts to chime. Remove from the oven, let it cool,
Then your broken heart will be the rule. Garnish with tears and a broken smile, Serve it up with loneliness for a while.
This recipe may seem quite sad,
But it's the only one for a heart that's bad.
