I raised my eyes and saw a star so bright and clear,
My hopes and dreams never seemed so real.
Fear was not an emotion I was ready to play,
There I stood without anything to say.
Lessons learnt was a thing of the past,
No one knew how long this could last.
Risk was a thing I was willing to take,
Happiness was all that was at stake.
Some say life is a joyful ride,
Only when you got him/her by your side.
Little do they know, that happiness comes from within,
As the star once shined was the reflection of thy skin.
