A river of bliss runs through my veins,
As my worries drift away with the passing of every minute;
Gone are the thoughts of pain,
And what was once a deep abyss is now aglow with a glimmer of light.
I am cocooned in a sense of ease,
Warmth radiates from within to the outside;
My heart is content to bask in peace,
Reveling in the tranquility that surrounds me.
Grateful for the refuge I find in my solitude,
In this mental sanctuary I am free;
My innermost being is bathed in gratitude,
As I accept the joy that resides inside of me.
Without a doubt, rest brings comfort and joy,
Filling me with a life-giving elixir;
Smiling, I savor the contentment of this newfound joy,
A refreshing metaphor that brings new life to my spirit.
