A land once known for unity, freedom, and justice
Is now etched into crisis
That land where peace once sings
Is now choked under the political strings
A refugee camp called the Land of the Free
Rulers living in bliss, voters floating in grief
Unhealthy battles with their dangerous attires
On who to wear the crown of power
Dear Asia, Europe, Americas, and others
We are hopeless beings from a refugee camp you called country
Searching for your country's entry
See us as your brothers
We are not invaders nor robbers
On us, close not your borders
We deserve a decent life and all the propers
We wished not to vacate this land
But we have been forced into a refugee camp
Here, every hopeful song has been sung
But they keep sanitizing our misery like an unsafe hand
We live with stories untold
Our brothers who can't stand it went cold
That story of this camp filled with minerals is now old
Your life could be no more yours if you choose to be bold.
