I weep and mourn with each passing day
As my heart aches in a silent way
For a love that was never meant to be
A feeling that I can't seem to set free
I pour my tears upon the barren ground
Hoping that they might make a sound
And bring to life the love that I crave
But alas, it seems to be a hopeless wave
My heart is heavy with the weight of regret
For a love that I cannot seem to forget
And though I try to move on and let go
My heart refuses to release this sorrow
I fertilize the earth with my tears
As I lament the love that disappeared
A strong feeling that had no fruit to bear
Leaving me with nothing but despair.
