Regrets

I regret having spilt ink
Regret having failed to think
The moments I could not blink
With thoughts I would sink
Content made me stink
Glued to my pen
Not knowing when
Against something I longed to win
From my imagination hoped to wean
The wheels of time gladly spin
Hours of toil , burning the midnight oil
Coining words , smoothening the edges , spitting phrases , solving cases
In my mind manouvred mazes
Thoughts full of quizes
Exploring the realm of fiction
Abiding by the statutes of diction
Flowing with the tides of reason
A mere complement
My efforts ceased being permanent
Grown temperament
