What if after my death I was forgotten
And no one ever heard of my works
What if my children only knew
Their father was a good man
And nothing else special
What if the world never really needed me
And I was just pushed into this battle line
What if from my heart bleeds gold dust
And my words caused them to bow
And in fear acknowledge my principles
What if despite my warnings,
Yet, they failed to heed
And that great destruction loomed
What if in my dead state, I heard my name
Being called by the ones of age
Who knows wisdom is hidden in my principles
What if of all my children,
only one followed my steps
And made my tombstone re-designed
And my death royally celebrated
What if finally I was honored
And I held my Peace.
