seeing a familiar face
in a far distance,
it’s been a while
now my heart feels dissonance,
a connection so strong
i can’t let go,
but things feel different now
like a messed up flow,
this shift is unsettling
like a crumbling nation,
but all this needs is communication
deeply i feel care
but i want things to be fair,
so let us come together
so we can clear the air,
vulnerability is sacred
so we’re playing it safe,
but if we’re both belated
there could be a cave,
let’s try together
with boldness,
so we can meet halfway
with closeness,
