He looked at himself in the mirror
Not proud nor ashamed of the man he has turned into.
All he cares about is his pills and his girlfriend

He remembered when he was a kid
when everything was perfect
He remembered when his dad first gave him a pill
Life without the pills made no sense to his dad
Now he's gone and his legacy is his son following up on his steps
Making sure the girl who loves him also pops some out
She got overdosed and couldn't breathe
He called the cops and said he wasn't wrong
