Robbers in Uniform

Some in black, some in blue, yet some in green,
Arms in hand, arm akimbo on our roads like rogues,
They stand in groups, one and two even up to fifteen,
Just to harm and exploit those they are to enclose.
With the arms they kill and maim those they are to secure,
With the arms they lot and rob from those they swore to protect.
Are they the police or the army? that am not so sure,
For if they be any of those, why do they collect?
Why do the citizens keep quiet, or have they lost their voice?
Nay, I think not so, afraid they must be.
Resist these robbers in uniform, that's the only choice,
Indeed, and with one voice with you I do agree.
