Life is like a
ROLLERCOASTER RIDE
Left, right
Violently sliding
Side to side
Flipping upside down
Then back around
A ride of our life
From butterflies
To stomach pains
Sound mind
To insaine
Then back again
Feeling out of control
Grasping a hold
Trying not to fall
Into an endless hole
Fighting to not hit
Rock bottom
Going from
Success to failures
Over and over again
It's like this cycle
Just doesn't seem to end
I'm truly exhausted
From trying to find
Contentment and stability
Everything is a possibility
Without any warning
Even death can come in a flash
So we have to try our best
To not hold onto unforgiveness
Grudges or regrets
We have to continue
To march forward
And walk by faith
And not sight
Even when the boat
Fills up
And starts to sink
We have to keep
Our trust
Continue to believe
And keep our faith
We can give up
Or stand firm
During life's storms!!!
