I am as an established tree,
Standing steadfast in my place.
Long years I've been secured,
By the root of amazing grace.
The wind is my old friend,
A spirit of old rustles through my leaves.
Bringing wisdom as it blows,
Trailing peace with a gentle breeze.
The sun nestles on my every fiber,
Assuring me that I am free.
As it supplies it's golden glitter,
I settle nestled in it's glory.
My branches reach to touch the sky,
Consistently as I grow.
Daydreaming of surpassing the clouds,
Upward I stretch to go.
