I painted you a lilac sky every night for years
But why do I have slient copper
Never-ending tears
You were my thriving green
and I felt like your rising rose gold
Joined together
Unstoppable
Color after color being unfolded
Than a striking blue came along
I've begun to dim
A deeper purple
Dark
Gloomy,
Almost gray
I tried being another shade of gold
But it wasn't enough
Everything was black, while I watched
Your violet bloom
Rose Gold was buried
but Scarlet Red was born
