Rosekeeper

There among jasmines and lotuses many,
My eyes befell you a rosebud like any,
Closed up in green a ruby so shiny,
Humbled indeed with beauty aplenty.
Often in secret you I would tend,
Water I gave you so not you would bend,
Grow I would watch you and nights I would spend,
Thinking,'So perfect this gift I was sent,'
I saw you blossom a rose you became,
Bringing bypassers to wonder and shame,
Pluck you they want to and I do not blame,
I knew you never were mine to acclaim.
And now your scent,my beautiful rose,
Graces and tickles another one's nose,
Fully regretting the ownwer you chosese,
Who will not wonder when are not close.
Still I await silent and meek,
To pick your petals up when you're weak,
When all have left you ,. you I will seek,
To pamper and keep you a flower unique...
