Rushing through this life
Caused me to overlook gold
And it's hard to believe
But it left me out in the cold
So many blessings I've missed
And the past can't be reversed
It's too late to make amends
Coz no one will understand
I have learned to take it slow
Focus and watch where you go
It's easy to falter at temptation
But you'll reach your destination
There will always be another day
Better things might come again
Nothing in life is meant to stay
To rush is to get out in the rain
