I approached you,
I said I loved you,
I waited patiently for you,
I needed to hear you say
"Let's see where this leads us to"
You played things safe,
Trust was an issue of late,
Though I remained,
Gave you time to trust me,
Gave you time to relate,
Things started to fall in place,
You opened your heart,
You removed your musk,
You made me see your face,
There was no wall between us,
I felt like we belonged together,
All was well I must say,
That's when I gave you my all,
Forgot about your downfalls,
I remained your man,
Though at times I didn't understand, why you started treating me so baddly at a stage,
So I started to embrace,
The ultimate devastating phase,
I gave you my all everyday,
It didn't seem enough though some may say, but I love you that never changed,
Until that moment you told me you got another man, you even started to do things with him I only dreamt you'd do with me instead, you smile more often these days, I barely have the chance to see you face to face, the words you tell me are hard to swallow but I guess that's the road you chose to travel on and leave me behind with my broken 💔 heart but its 👌 OKAY.
