Saddest eyes known

The saddest of eyes ever known

Battle scars on her face are shown

Visible by the cuts that are sewn

Hair is tangled by wind being blown

Younger back then, now she's grown

Life had broken her down to the bone

Now has learned she wants to go home

A long time she has been on her own
