Behind that mask of anger and malice
Why do you hide such sorrowful emotions?
Behind that facade of anger and hate
You show no sadness but it's still there.
So you hide your pain with rudeness and conflict
In attempt to escape it
But with no success.
Your mind has no balance
And your walls suffering from erosion,
Your personality is a "disgrace"
And "no one will care".
The walls are painted scarlet
And you seem to embrace it
Even though you are in distress,
You become good at hiding such sorrowful emotions.
This reality you never asked for
Was forced upon you
And now you worry but hide that well.
But you don't know
that you are safe now,
Everything will be okay now,
So put away the mask
And no need to act anymore,
Welcome the safer new
And bid the past farewell
It was so long ago
You grew up so
In this horrible reality
You called home.
