Silence is a prison, a cage that holds us tight
It keeps us from the freedom of sharing our plight
We need to create a space where people can be free
To express the things they struggle with, openly
Rape and incest, uncontrollable urges too
These are heavy burdens, that many must endure
But when we keep them hidden, the cycle never ends
The pain and suffering, it just transcends
We need to break the cycle, we need to speak out loud
We need to create an environment where it is allowed
To share our struggles, and receive the help we need
So that we can heal, and break the chains that bind us indeed
So let us be a community that supports and cares
For those who are struggling, and those who bear
The weight of secrets that they cannot keep
Let's create a safe space, where they can freely weep
And in that space of love and understanding
We can work together, towards a brighter beginning
Where the cycle is broken, and healing can begin
Let's create a world where everyone can win.
