I'm at a place where death lingers.
I stare into it's face of hunger
I recite the 23rd Psalm
To keep me calm
It's not time to fear
My Shepherd is near
Allone I tried to find my way
But darkness overtook my day
Lord you're the light in darkness
Please deliver me from this mess
And lead me safely home
Hurry Lord please come
Right at the point of no return
In me the light of hope still burn
I know you won't forsake me
Even when my eyes can't see
I believe you'll guide me through
I'm forever safe with you
