Oh mama Salone,
The place I call home,
My dear mama salone.
The land with less citizenry,
Yet with more beggary
But in God we seek,
The land with ;
High hills and blue seas.
We keep sinking,
In a sea of corruption
That has wrecked the nation
Nothing good functions
No progression
Inept leaders with no ambition
Making awful decisions
Looting is their only determination
They came in fighting corruption
Oh wait! Are they fighting corruption or the nation ?
Or mistaking the nation for corruption?
Because all I hear is investigation, investigation!
Hunting poor teachers and leaving people with false qualification
Employing party loyalist with no qualifications
Leaving graduated students with better education
Health system with no structures and proper medication
Busy building mansions
Roaming around with glittery cars;
And fashions
Leaving mobs in fathomless devastation
For epochs folks keep asking;
Why these sufferations
Oh God when salvation will visit this nation?
Oh God help in this situation,
Oh God help this nation.
