Those days of what if's and maybe hit me like a wave of tears
Thinking about I should've could've would've is gone with my younger years
And all I got is hoping one day I can turn back time with a wish
This life of regret and pain it served to me wasn't my favorite dish
How come I had to grow up in a battle I didn't start but still fighting
All I can hope is this book if tears my kids can start rewriting
