Sandwaves

Alone in the world again,
It's raining slightly,
It rages and calms,
It's beautiful really,
Like her voice through the echoes,
She sings so profound,
But I don't deserve to hear,
In this life,
Nor in the next,
Because you wont be here,
Because it doesn't matter,
None of us,
Will see it,
We might even feel it,
But you won't see it coming,
This wave, this rising sun,
To take over and eat,
Eat everything you desire,
Your children to the wayside,
Your brothers to the gallows,
Your fathers to the pit,
Your mothers to the slaughter,
We could never exist together,
One eventually will consume the other,
Cruel and beautiful,
Life must go on,
In the end I'd like to see everyone,
But it will never happen,
In the end we're all dead,
Fruitless fighting among maggots,
Towering babies arguing for centuries,
In the end if anyone held the cards,
Would they go all in?
End everything for everyone including oneself,
Or no matter what we still will do anything to survive,
A million lives just to have your family,
Just to see them smile one last time,
Could you forfeit?
And do the opposite?
Could you risk your child's beautiful laughter over the million who can truly save the future?
It's everyone's future,
Not only yours,
Not only theirs,
Everyone's,
Could everyone give up everything precious at the moment,
For a chance to shine like the stars,
I doubt it,
No one's that selfless,
No one cares to know even a name,
There is no future,
There never was one...
Who could dream this?
Lie within reason,
Tear off another vision,
Have no more,
To sleep soundful,
And wake up silent,
To enjoy more closure,
We've never been,
So might I have a drink?
I'm thirsty, do you even have enough?
To share with your new brother,
As long as it's for better,
A mountain of dreams,
A land filled with wishes,
Together forth,
We don't need any tension,
When it's all played out falsely,
Grains of steel,
We lie all the time,
No water,
Could ever wash this sin off,
No you can't wash this sin off,
I'll never see you again,
I want to see you again,
I'm laying by your grave,
Wishing I could see you...
