Saturday April 4th 2026

I was about to go outside

Only to find that it's raining

Very heavy now as i watch

Maybe I'll go back inside

Sit down for a bit of gaming

I am looking at the rain fall

The gutters are overflowing

Water is dripping all around

Grey clouds cover the skies

Good thing the wind isn't blowing

April is well underway

Plenty of rain came our way

Just like it will again in May

I wish it was bright with the sun's rays

But it's fine with these types of days

As I'm typing the rain slowed

Just a steady flow now dropping

A few puddles now have formed

Often it brings worms up to breathe

I hope soon that it will be stopping

I might go back in to roll a joint

And return when it's not as bad

I don't want the doobie all wet

The spliff would then fall apart

If it was wasted , I would be sad

April is now underway

Tonnes of rain made it this way

And again it will come in May

I want it to be nice with some suns rays

But I'm ok with these kinds of days

The rain is good to start spring

All the new flowers will love it

Sending sprouts leaping on out

From the buds that just formed

I love seeing new growth I admit

This is the end of my crazy rant

I will say goodbye and see you

Stay dry and try not to get a cold

I wish you all a wonderful day , but

I'm going to drink my coffee I brewed

April has begun

Rain has come

Winter is done

Soon comes the sun

I love it a tonne

Joy for everyone
