Two thirty in the morning
The rain fell overnight
Earlier it was storming
The lightning quite bright
The roads are still very slick
They were like puddles before
Driving in that is no picnic
Visibility is low when it pours
The river is flowing fast
I can hear the water so clear
After a rain falls like that
It's better not to go too near
A cold front made its way
Pushed out all the humidity
Tomorrow may be a nice day
But rain is still a probability
