You know I would do anything for you.
I thought that you would allow me to save you from your truth.
Everyone tells me to just let you go.
But I spent so much time trying to fix you, because I loved you so.
I actually believed you every time you said you want to get clean.
I walked along side of you even when you were mean.
I didn't want to give up, because I believed in love.
I finally realized that sometimes people just don't want to get better.
I sat there scratching my head, wondering how I'm gonna tell you that I give up on us, it's all in the letter.
I tried so hard and cried so many tears.
I faced you in my darkest hours, I faced fear.
I finally had to look you in the eyes.
I felt so much anger for having these dreams and now saying goodbye.
I want more in life then what I see in you.
Just when I thought you were on the right track, you fell, you finally told me the truth.
I hope one day you can finally face your nightmares.
And realize how much I have cared.
We could of had the life you always dreamed of.
But love is not enough..
Your addictions took over your mind.
It left you helpless, damaged and blind.
To the reality that you left behind.
